Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and NGN Consulting Corp. (“we”, “us”) covering your use of the Reframe mobile app. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Reframe.

1. What Reframe is — and what it is not

Reframe uses artificial intelligence to interpret messages and suggest ways you might reply. It is a tool for reflection.

Reframe is not therapy, counselling, medical advice, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for any of them. It is not a crisis service. If you are in danger, or someone else is, contact your local emergency number. In the United States you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or text START to 88788 to reach the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

The app’s output is generated by an AI model. It can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken about tone and intent. It does not know the people involved. Treat every interpretation and suggested reply as one opinion to consider, never as a verdict about another person or a decision made for you. You are responsible for what you choose to say and do.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Reframe, and able to form a binding contract where you live.

3. Your account

Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information when you register. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may close your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy for how to do that and what we delete.

4. Acceptable use

Reframe is built to help you understand a relationship you are actually part of. You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these rules, and we may do so without notice where the violation is serious.

5. Content you provide

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us a limited licence to store and process that content solely in order to operate the service for you — nothing more. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it. That licence ends when the content is deleted.

6. Subscriptions and payment

Free trial

Paid plans may include a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription automatically and you will be charged.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Purchases are processed by Google Play, not by us. To cancel, or to manage your subscription, use the Google Play Store — cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds

Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy. We can’t issue refunds directly, but if something has gone wrong, contact us and we will help where we can.

Price changes

We may change prices. We will give you notice before a change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Reframe running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and you will be able to export or delete your data.

8. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reframe is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app’s interpretations or suggestions are accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your situation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, relationships, opportunities or profits, arising from your use of Reframe. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) US$50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only so far as the law permits. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where such limitation is prohibited.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or content you upload that you had no right to share.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Reframe afterwards means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction — except that either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court, and nothing here removes any consumer-protection right you have under the mandatory law of your home country.

13. General

If any provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding Reframe. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours in connection with a merger or sale of our business.
